Hello everyone. In July, we’ve been working on the refunds system which is now available to founding members behind a feature flag for them to give it a whirl. If you are interested in becoming a founding member , all you need to do is complete the form and we will get in touch.
Refunds and Credits
Our Refunds and Credits system is there to give teachers a way to make it right when a lesson doesn’t happen or money needs to move back. Refunds will be recorded as Credit Notes, the opposite of an invoice. Build up lines on a single credit note from a whole invoice, or enter the amount you wish to refund. Lesson credits can also be given to students instead of a refund so that you can carry over a lesson to a future date.
Simplified Pay Link
We know that paying online can be confusing, especially when there are a lot of options, so this month, we’ve spent time simplifying the pay screen. It now shows the amount due, front and centre, with a large payment button.
We will automatically show the easiest option first, preferring online payments, if you have a provider set up. If you have multiple ways to pay configured, such as a bank transfers and online payment providers, then those alternatives are listed in an expandable “other ways to pay” section below.
Coming Next
We still need to put the finishing touches to the Lesson credits system, we will be focussing on that over the next few weeks. We will be rolling these changes out to everyone as soon as they are ready.
